Volunteering

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support the work that we do

Just sparing a lunch break can be enough to help us to help others to improve their mental health!

At Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent Mind we are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support the work that we do and to offer opportunities that can help you build up skills and confidence and experience in a range of areas.

Although the impact of Covid meant that our volunteering work was put ‘on hold’ for some time, we are now back open for face to face service delivery and would like to hear from you, if you are interested in volunteering with us, as there may be opportunities for you to work with us and the people who use our services. This can either be face to face or in a range of digital formats.

Please feel free to give us a call on 01495 757393 or click here to download an application which can be returned to us to firstcontact@torfaenmind.co.uk

Our volunteers and students are provided with an induction and you will have access to a variety of training opportunities/courses dependant on role.

All volunteers will require a DBS check, the cost of which will be met by the organisation. All travel expenses incurred through volunteering at Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent Mind will also be reimbursed.

We would welcome applications from volunteers who would be interested in the following roles:
