What training can MHFA Wales offer you?

Mental Health First Aid Wales is the trading subsidiary wholly owned by Torfaen & Blaenau Gwent Mind. The purpose of its work is to generate funds to support the work of the charity in addressing the challenges people face in successfully managing and maintaining their mental health and wellbeing.

MHFA Wales is an evolving, reactive and high quality organisation. Using a wealth of expertise and experience, their mission is to empower every individual and community to build wellbeing and resilience by educating, supporting and raising awareness. 

MHFA Wales develops and delivers high quality, research and evidence based mental health training, holds the license for Mental Health First Aid in Wales and they directly train, license and support all instructors who deliver who deliver MHFA in Wales.

As well as offering a number of training courses that support the well-being of our communities, MHFA Wales provides:

• A high–quality independent advocacy

• Counselling

• Policy consultation

• A Relevant Persons Representative service

• A Litigation Friend service
